A natural skincare saviour

Over the past 2-3 years I’ve developed a slight fetish for skincare products. I’d have no shame in spending £100 odd at the Estee Lauder counter on stuff that’s going to ‘make me a new woman’.

But I became really interested in what was actually IN the products that I was buying when I read somewhere that it can end up in our blood stream. This made me take a look at all of the hundreds of unknown chemical ingredients that make up the products I used, which sounded more like they belonged in products I should be applying to my kitchen floor, and certainly not on my face.

With this in mind I did a bit of research into more natural products and came across Rosehip Oil. I can’t express enough how much I love this stuff. It’s a natural product, and not a fraction of the price you can pay for some of the skincare products on the market (around £16 in boots). It lasts for ages too as you don’t need a lot.

It’s full of essential fatty acids great for nourishing and hydrating, it really makes you feel like your face is getting a good drink. It also prevents aging, and can be used on scars and burns to speed up the healing process.  PLUS super gorgeous, ex Victoria’s Secret’s model, Miranda Kerr uses it, so if it’s good enough for Miranda…!

I’ve been using it for around 2 years now. It used to be something I’d apply every night, but as time has gone on, I no longer need it every day, and now I only apply it 2-3 times a week before I go to bed, and after a few uses you really can start to feel and see the difference. I’m not saying that I no longer use other products, because I do, but I like the fact I'm using something that's not got anything that's 'unknown' in it, plus - this is the 1 and only product I’ve continued to re-purchase, because I just love it! :-)
