I've always loved Nude lips, but it took me AGES to find one that looked right with my skin tone. I'd tried far too many that just looked like I'd applied foundation on my lips. (although... yes, I am guilty of doing this back in the day *monkey cringe emoji*). But of course, I persevered, and I now own enough nudes to start my own lads mag.
I think when you've got darker hair, nudes that are too light or orangey can just make you look really washed out, so I prefer ones which have slightly darker undertones. So now I am the proud owner to a very large extended family of nude lipsticks. I think have finally found the perfect lip cocktails that sit right with my skintone. Drum roll please...
MAC Spice Liner & Honey Love - This is my go to for everyday lips. It's subtle but really finishes my face, and works with any eye look. It's also not to bold for day to day wear.
MAC Spice Liner & MAC Snob - When I first ordered Snob I was on the hunt for a more pinky nude to set me up for spring, and when I tried it on it's own I really didn't like how it looked on me, because it's so pale it really washed me out. However...with Spice liner underneath it to darken it up a little, it creates the perfect shade for spring. I <3 it!
Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Serenity - If I need something long wearing that isn't going to move all day, this is my go to lipstick. It's such a nice nude, slightly darker undertones and dries really quickly.
I honestly don't think a girl can ever have too many nude lipsticks, so please let me know which ones you love, so I can add them to my ever growing collection!
