The Clothes Show 2016

Am I the only human being in the world who hadn't heard of The Clothes Show until about a year ago? I think so, because it seems every single person knew all about it. To say it surpassed my expectations would be an understatement. It was phenomenal and I left feeling completely exhausted, and if I'm honest, I hadn't planned on writing a blog post about it, but for anyone who hasn't been, I thought it would be a good insight into what exactly goes on, and why you should for sure go in 2017!

Bargains. Bargains everywhere! From In The Style, Pretty Lavish, Neon Rose, to smaller little boutique-y type stalls, there was a LOT of shopping opportunities. It was really good to be able to see the products of so many online stores in the 'flesh' so to speak. In The Style had a rail of dresses and playsuits all for £10, so I've now got my NYE outfit sorted!

May I also mention, this is not just a 'clothes show', there is a whole host of beauty and fitness stands there, brands like Spectrum, Fake Bake, MyProtein and loads more, so even if you're more of a beauty connoisseur; you will still feel right at home.

Oh Em Gee, the main show. This was no amateur dramatics that's for sure. I felt like I was watching the Victoria Secret's Show's little sister. There was singing, strutting and a whole lot of sass. It was a full on performance. Dancing, rollerskates, X-Factor finalists performing the lot!

We also watched the Sarah Ashcroft show (with front row seats I might add!), which was brilliant! It was so much fun and I loved seeing so many outfits pulled together from high street brands. There was a lot of smaller shows throughout the day you could go and watch, so you can just kind of pick your own agenda and go to the shows that suit you.

Side note: The models are STUNNING. There is a risk you may be left feeling depressed and crying into your KFC - but it's so worth it.

Clothes Show

Is it just me or is there something super exciting about seeing celebrities or people you have only seen online in the flesh?
"Do they look the same?"
"What were they like in real life?"
"Are they as tall as they look on TV?"
If you're into celeb spotting, this is your place. From Love Island, to Towie to MIC - they were all there!

I also had the pleasure of meeting the absolutely stunning Fashion Blogger, Sarah Ashcroft, who can I just say, is absolutely lovely; and yes, she is as beautiful (if not more so) in real life. *cries*

I believe that this year was the last year the clothes show is going to be held in Birmingham, as it's moving up north to Liverpool for next year, but it looks like they're going to be making it even bigger & better, spreading it across 5 venues! So if you wasn't thinking about going already, hopefully this post has helped give you a little insight into what exactly you can expect if you are thinking of going!
